The fleet continues to grow with the announcement that Skien Dhu (a traditional Scottish knife) has been bought by Santa Barbara based owner Dirk and Jill Freeland and Radical Departure III (ex-Impetuous) will be raced by the former owners of the 1D35 Radical Departure Dennis Rosene and Paul Wager.

Impetuous had been racing in Newport , RI for the past few years and leaves for California Thursday April 12 and is expected to join the fleet for racing in San Diego for Yachting Cup with Skien Dhu joining in at Cal Race Week.

And in case you were wondering, a new Piranha (ex-Mean Machine) arrived Thursday, April 12, to replace the red Farr 40 of the same name that was tragically lost on the beach North of Cabo. (more story) Piranha will be racing only six days after its arrival for the first Sunset Series race of the year at Cal YC and also at Ahmanson Cup starting Saturday.

With Temptress, Ohana and Woolly Bully all new to the fleet, this makes 5 new owners in the past year! What are you waiting for???
